The short version
BOOX announced the Note Air6 C on September 15. Its official store also now lists the Note Mini C and Palma 3 with specifications. Those two product pages say “Available Soon”; BOOX has not given a firm release date on either page.
This is a useful range of sizes, but buyers should treat the speed and writing claims as BOOX's claims until independent testing is available. We have not tested these devices.
Note Air6 C: a faster 10.3-inch colour notebook
The Note Air6 C keeps a 10.3-inch Kaleido 3 screen with 300ppi black-and-white and 150ppi colour resolution. It has 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a microSD slot, a warm and cool front light, Bluetooth 6.0 and Android 16. BOOX includes its Pen3 stylus; the magnetic keyboard cover is an accessory.

Compared with the Note Air5 C, the clear on-paper changes are Android 16 in place of Android 15 and an upgraded processor. BOOX says the new model is 40% faster in tasks such as opening large documents and turning pages. That figure is a manufacturer comparison, not a Yeinks benchmark. The listed screen resolution, 6GB/64GB memory and 3,700mAh battery remain the same in BOOX's comparison.
For someone considering a Note Air5 C today, the key question is how much the performance and newer Android version matter against any price difference. The existing model has not suddenly lost its note-taking tools.
Note Mini C: colour handwriting in a smaller format
The Note Mini C uses an 8.52-inch Kaleido 3 screen. BOOX lists 300ppi in black and white and 150ppi in colour, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a microSD slot, Android 16 and an included InkSight stylus. At approximately 300g, it is notably lighter than the approximately 440g Note Air6 C.

The smaller page should be easier to carry and hold, while the Air6 C's larger page will suit full-size PDFs and split-screen work better. That is a size trade-off inferred from the published dimensions, not a hands-on verdict. BOOX's US listing says “Available Soon” and starts at $549.99; local pricing and a firm on-sale date still need confirmation.
BOOX has not called it a replacement for the older Tab Mini C, but that is a useful size comparison: the Note Mini C has an 8.52-inch screen rather than 7.8 inches, Android 16 rather than Android 11, and 6GB rather than 4GB of RAM. Both use Kaleido 3 at 300ppi for black and white and 150ppi for colour. The newer model's listed 3,150mAh battery is smaller than the Tab Mini C's 5,000mAh battery; those capacities alone do not establish real-world battery life.
Palma 3: a reader rather than a notebook
Palma 3 is a 6.13-inch monochrome E-Ink device with a 300ppi display. BOOX lists Android 16, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a microSD slot, a warm and cool front light and a 16MP rear camera. At approximately 195g, it is the most portable of the three.

Its official specifications list capacitive touch, not stylus input, so it is best considered a pocket reader and Android app device rather than a handwritten notebook. The BOOX US product page says “Available Soon” and shows a starting price of $319.99. Check local availability before making a buying decision.
Against the Palma 2, the Palma 3 keeps the 6.13-inch, 300ppi monochrome screen, 6GB/128GB memory and 3,950mAh battery. The clear specification changes are Android 16 instead of Android 13 and Bluetooth 6.0 instead of 5.1. BOOX lists the new reader at approximately 195g versus 170g for the Palma 2, so it is slightly heavier on paper.
What to watch next
BOOX needs to confirm when the Mini C and Palma 3 can actually be bought in each region. Independent reviews will also need to test whether the Note Air6 C's claimed speed improvement is noticeable in ordinary reading, writing and app use. We will update our BOOX coverage as those details become clear.
