HOW THIS REVIEW WAS MADE
We have not tested this device ourselves.
This review combines four written reviews, two video reviews and three owner discussions. Bigme coverage is thinner than BOOX or Kindle coverage, so isolated claims were weighted cautiously.
The charts show how often a theme appeared across the 9 sources we coded. They are directional, not scientific scores. A report can reveal a problem, but it cannot tell us how common that problem is.
THE SHORT VERSION
Impressive hardware for people willing to work around an uneven interface.
B1051C Pro combines a 10.3-inch color E-Ink screen, Android 14, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, microSD expansion and an optional keyboard with trackpad. Reviewers repeatedly value its connectivity, multitasking hardware and ability to behave like a low-distraction laptop.
The screen remains darker and less vivid than an LCD, while Bigme’s interface, translations and native apps receive mixed feedback. It can do more than focused notebooks, but reaching that potential takes setup and tolerance for rough edges.

DISPLAY & HARDWARE
A serious set of specifications behind a paper-like screen
The 10.3-inch Kaleido 3 display renders monochrome content at 300ppi and color at 150ppi. Text is sharp, while images and charts use muted color and need more front lighting than a normal tablet. Bigme’s refresh controls can smooth movement at the cost of more ghosting.
The Pro model pairs 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and expansion up to 2TB. Keyboard and trackpad support, speakers, microphones and extensive connectivity make it unusually ambitious for an E-Ink device.
WORK & SOFTWARE
Closer to a laptop than most E-Ink tablets, for better and worse
Android 14 opens office apps, browsers, cloud drives, reading services and Bigme’s own AI and transcription features. The keyboard cover makes email and document editing possible without carrying a separate laptop for lighter tasks.
Several reviews criticize the launcher, gestures, translations and inconsistent native software. Third-party apps also need E-Ink refresh tuning. Experienced Android users can replace launchers and adapt settings, but this is not a polished appliance for casual buyers.
BATTERY
Better than a conventional tablet, weaker than a simple notebook
Color refresh, front lighting, Android services and keyboard use create very different battery results. Reading and handwriting offline last much longer than browser or office-app sessions.
Treat battery as multi-day rather than Kindle-style multi-week endurance when using the device as a workstation.

WHERE TO BUY
Bigme B1051C Pro
Buy from a retailer with clear returns and warranty support. This device suits experimenters far better than buyers who expect everything to feel finished on day one.

A capable E-Ink workstation that needs a confident owner.
B1051C Pro offers a rare combination of color, storage, Android apps and keyboard hardware. For document-heavy work where eye comfort matters, that breadth can be genuinely useful.
It lacks the calm finish of reMarkable, the note design of Supernote and the software maturity of BOOX. Buy it for the unusual hardware package, with open eyes about the software.
