- Review the model picker and account notices.Note which models appear and whether the screen describes a login requirement, a trial, a usage limit or a payment request.
- Send one simple test prompt.If one model fails, try a second built-in model. A model outage is different from losing the whole AI service.
- Record the exact result.Take a screenshot or photo of any fee prompt or error and write down the device model, system version, selected model and time.

That app's own plan is separate from Viwoods' built-in AI access. Return to the Viwoods AI interface and test there.
Switch models and try again later. A provider outage or model change does not prove that your free access has ended.
That notice may apply to the search add-on rather than ordinary AI chat, summarising or rewriting.

Save a dated copy or screenshot of the product page and FAQ shown in your region. Then ask Viwoods to confirm that the built-in AI service on the exact model you are buying has no recurring fee, whether request limits apply and whether the commitment covers the useful life of that device.
Also ask whether the answer applies to your seller and region. The clearest FAQ wording refers to AiPaper pre-orders, while the strongest current "No Subscription Fee" wording we found appears on the AiPaper Reader page. That difference is exactly why a model-specific written answer is valuable.
